This notice explains what personal information Europe-Africa International Business School (EAIBS) collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. Last updated 3 October 2026.
TO BE COMPLETED BY EAIBS: the registered legal entity and country responsible for this data must be named below before this notice is relied on. It determines which data protection law applies.
Who is responsible for your information
[EAIBS to insert: registered company name, registration number, registered address and country.] That entity is the data controller for the information described here.
For any question about this notice, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact info@eaibs.org.
What we collect, and why
When you apply for a programme
Our application form collects your name, email address, telephone number and country, the programme you are applying for, your preferred study mode, and optionally a document you choose to upload and the rest of your address.
We use this to assess your application, to contact you about it, and to arrange your place if you are admitted. Without it we cannot process an application.
When you send an enquiry
Our contact form collects your name, email address, telephone number and your message. We use it only to reply to you.
When you apply for a job with us
Our careers form collects your name, email address, telephone number, address, date of birth, age, gender, marital status, education level, the role you are applying for, and any CV or document you upload. We use it to assess your application for employment.
When you use the student portal
If you are given a portal account we hold your account details, the programme you are registered on, your enrolment and payment status, and your payment history. We also keep a short-lived record of password reset requests, and technical records used to protect the service from abuse.
Email we send you
We keep a log of messages the website sends — recipient, subject and whether delivery succeeded — so that we can tell whether you actually received a reply. These logs are kept for 60 days and then deleted automatically.
Who we share it with
- Partner institutions. If you apply for a programme awarded by one of our institutional partners, we pass your application to that institution so it can make an admission decision. Our partners are listed on our Institutional Partners page, and each is responsible for the information once it reaches them.
- Professional bodies. Where you are studying towards a professional qualification, you register with that body directly. We do not register you with them.
- Our payment processor. When online card payment is enabled, card details are handled entirely by Paystack and never reach this website or EAIBS. We receive only confirmation of the payment.
- Our hosting and email providers, who store the data on our behalf and act only on our instructions.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Applications that do not lead to enrolment — kept while we are in contact with you, then deleted.
- Student records — kept for the duration of your studies and for a period afterwards, so that we can confirm your attendance and completion if you ask us to.
- Payment records — kept as long as accounting and tax rules require.
- Enquiries — kept while we deal with them.
- Email delivery logs — 60 days.
TO BE COMPLETED BY EAIBS: the exact retention periods above marked “a period afterwards” should be stated as a number of years.

Cookies
This website sets cookies that are necessary for it to work — for example to keep you signed in to the student portal and to protect forms from automated abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
